Sanittek
A complete identity for a US sanitation company, built during lockdown.
In 2020 everyone was a sanitation company.Sanittek had to look permanent.
Sanittek Inc. started up in Redlands, California in late 2020, offering on-demand cleaning and disinfection for homes, offices, hospitals and warehouses, launched while the country was shut. The category filled overnight with operations that were three weeks old and looked it. Sanittek was three weeks old too. The identity had to do the job a track record usually does: arrive looking like something that had been trusted before, and would still be standing when the emergency ended.
One mark, three readings.
The S is the initial. The trigger above it is a spray gun, the most basic tool in the trade. The counter inside the loop is a droplet. Three readings held in one shape, and it survives the range the business actually needed: embossed at business-card size, and full-length down the side of a van.
A launch that ran on what people were already worried about.
The campaign ran through the winter of 2020: carpets, mattresses, offices, whole premises. One service per post, one number, one ask. The set is dated on purpose. One post is just the US case curve with a line about masks and distance underneath it, and it fixes the project in time better than any of the polished ones do.
Everything a company needsto look like it isn’t new.
Identity and lockups, stationery, print-ready packaging with the compliance panels a supply box actually has to carry, a full vehicle wrap, and the campaign that launched it, all inside three months, for a company that had been trading for weeks.
